PETER FRAMPTON TO PERFORM AT DAILY’S PLACE IN SEPTEMBER

JACKSONVILLE, Fla.– Live Nation and Bold Events today announced that Peter Frampton will perform at Daily’s Place on Wednesday, September 4 at 7:30 p.m.as part of “Peter Frampton Finale—The Farewell Tour.” He’ll be joined by special guest Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Evening. At age 16, Frampton was lead singer and guitarist for British band The Herd. At 18, he co-founded one of the first super-groups, seminal rock act Humble Pie. His session work includes collaborations with such legendary artists as George Harrison, Harry Nilsson, David Bowie, Jerry Lee Lewis, Ringo Starr, John Entwistle, Mike McCready and Matt Cameron (Pearl Jam), among many others.
Frampton released his first solo project, “The Wind of Change” in 1971 and went on to produce numerous other successful albums. In 2007, he won the Grammy Award for “Best Pop Instrumental Album” for “Fingerprints” and in 2014, Frampton was inducted into the Musicians Hall of Fame. He recently celebrated the 42nd anniversary of his fifth solo album, “Frampton Comes Alive!,” which remains one of the top-selling live records of all time, with over 17 million copies sold worldwide.
Since its grand opening in May 2017, Daily’s Place has become the leading destination for live entertainment and events in Northeast Florida. Adjacent to TIAA Bank Field, the home of the NFL’s Jacksonville Jaguars, the state-of-the-art venue encompasses a 5,500-seat covered amphitheater and flex field, which serves as both an indoor team practice facility and public event space.
