PENTATONIX TO MAKE DAILY’S PLACE DEBUT IN AUGUST

JACKSONVILLE, Fla.– Bold Events and Live Nation today announced that Pentatonix will perform at Daily’s Place on Aug. 24 at 7 p.m. The multi-platinum and Grammy Award-winning group will be joined in support by Rachel Platten. Pentatonix has sold nearly 10 million albums worldwide and their 2015 self-titled album is certified gold after debuting No. 1 on Billboard’s 200. Nine of their albums reached the top 10 on Billboard’s 200 chart and they have received multiple RIAA certifications for multi-platinum, platinum and gold selling albums and singles. Their tracks, “Mary, Did You Know?” and “Hallelujah” were certified platinum, while the Pentatonixoriginal, “Can’t Sleep Love,” was certified gold. In October 2017, Pentatonixreleased a deluxe version of their certified platinum 2016 holiday album, “A Pentatonix Christmas Deluxe”, and completed their sold-out A Pentatonix Christmas Tour in December. The following year, in April 2018, Pentatonixreleased the first collection in the group’s PTX Presents series, PTX Presents: Top Pop Vol. 1, which features 11 PTX-curated modern pop performances. Most recently, Pentatonix released their fourth holiday album, “Christmas Is Here!” accompanied by a new single, “Making Christmas."
Born in New York City and raised in Massachusetts, Rachel Plattenis an Emmy Award winner, multi-platinum selling recording artist. Platten topped countless radio and iTunes charts worldwide, with her major label debut album “Wildfire” which included the platinum Billboard Hot 100 hit, “Stand By You.” In 2017, Rachel released “Waves”, featuring the lead single “Broken Glass.”
Since its grand opening in May 2017, Daily’s Place has become the leading destination for live entertainment and events in Northeast Florida. Adjacent to TIAA Bank Field, the home of the NFL’s Jacksonville Jaguars, the state-of-the-art venue encompasses a 5,500-seat covered amphitheater and flex field, which serves as both an indoor team practice facility and public event space.
