LIONEL RICHIE’S “HELLO” TOUR COMING TO DAILY’S PLACE

JACKSONVILLE, Fla.– Bold Events and Live Nation today announced that Grammy-winning artist Lionel Richie will bring his “Hello” tour to downtown Jacksonville this summer.  Richie is scheduled to perform at Daily’s Place on Saturday, June 1 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for the newly announced performance will go on sale to the general public beginning Friday, March 29 at 10 a.m. Jags365 and Daily’s Rewards Members will have access to presale tickets beginning Thursday, March 28 at 10 a.m. For complete ticket information, including all presales and ticket prices, please click here

 

Richie has sold more than 100 million albums worldwide and won four Grammy awards.  His upcoming album, “Live from Las Vegas,” is set for release on August 23 on Capitol Records. It features Richie performing material from throughout his career, including beloved songs from his solo albums (“All Night Long,” “Say You, Say Me,” “Hello,” “Dancing On The Ceiling” and “Truly”) and his time with The Commodores, where he penned smash hits such as “Three Times a Lady” and “Easy.” The album also includes an inspiring performance of the landmark song “We Are the World,” which Richie co-wrote for USA for Africa.

 

Since its grand opening in May 2017, Daily’s Place has become the leading destination for live entertainment and events in Northeast Florida.  Adjacent to TIAA Bank Field, the home of the NFL’s Jacksonville Jaguars, the state-of-the-art venue encompasses a 5,500-seat covered amphitheater and flex field, which serves as both an indoor team practice facility and public event space.
